  • What is deckle edge paper?
Deckle edge paper is a type of handmade paper characterized by its feathery, uneven edges, reminiscent of a time before machine cutting and mechanized printing. This effect is achieved when the pulp escapes through the tiny space between the mould and the deckle during the traditional papermaking process. In my studio, I exclusively use deckle edge handmade paper, avoiding any cutting machines to maintain this authentic, handcrafted look.
  • How many seeds are embedded in each card?
The exact number of seeds per card varies and isn’t counted, but on average, each card contains approximately 5-15 seeds. This ensures that each card has the potential to grow into beautiful plants, contributing to a greener environment.
  • What types of seeds are used in your seed cards?
Our seed cards are infused with a variety of non-GMO organic seeds, including Basil, Carrots, Marigold, and Chamomile. We continuously expand our selection and introduce new seeds with each collection to offer a diverse range of plantable options.
  • What types of dyes are used in your studio?
Our plantable paper is distinguished by the use of natural dyes sourced from local suppliers in India. These include sappanwood, organic turmeric, madder root, and indigo, ensuring that our products are both eco-friendly and vibrant.
  • Can I customise the size of my cards?
Custom sizes are available for an additional charge which will be calculated based on quantity required. We strive to accommodate your specific needs and preferences to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products.
  • What is the creation timeline for your products?
The turnaround time for order quantities of 100-200 cards is typically 1-2 weeks. Larger orders of 300 cards or more may require 2-4 weeks for processing and delivery. This timeline ensures that each product is crafted with care and attention to detail.
  • How are these cards printed?
Since our seed cards are deckle edge handmade cards, they do not undergo digital printing. Each card is printed by hand in single colors through the traditional method of block printing. The price remains separate and is calculated as per the print details. For handmade paper, we also offer foil print and screen printing.
